Available Chests
Regular chests that can be found throughout the forest based on your campfire level
The most common chest, it appears as a small, cubic, wooden box with metal corners. It helps new players get a start.
Can be found around the map starting at Campfire level 2.
9 items
Heals 50 health and can revive downed players.
Increases inventory capacity to 15 items.
An improved axe that takes only 5 hits to chop down a tree.
A basic light source with 50% max capacity that can stun The Deer.
A melee weapon with better range and damage than an axe.
A ranged weapon for killing entities from a distance.
Ammo for the Revolver weapon.
A valuable source of fuel for the campfire.
Grows flowers one day after being planted.
Second most common chest. Has cylindrical lid, found around map from campfire level 2.
Can be found around the map starting at Campfire level 2.

Reduces incoming damage.
Fuels campfire and flamethrower.
Melee weapon with increased damage and range.
Ranged weapon for distant combat.
Ammo for revolver.
Heals 50 HP and revives downed players.
Increases inventory to 15 items (17 with Scavenger).
Chops trees in 5 hits.
Grows berries after 1 day.
Lobby currency for purchasing classes.
Third most common chest. Upgraded with cylindrical lid and full metal frame, found from campfire level 3.
Can be found around the map starting at Campfire level 3.

Single-shot ranged weapon that requires Rifle Ammo.
Ammo for the Rifle weapon.
Ranged weapon for distant combat.
Ammo for revolver.
100% capacity flashlight that stuns The Deer. Recharges near campfire or fireflies.
Increases inventory to 15 items (17 with Scavenger).
Places down up to 3 spike walls.
Fuels campfire and flamethrower.
Reduces incoming damage.

Melee weapon with increased damage and range.
Lobby currency for purchasing classes.
Uncommon chest with smooth wooden finish, metal trim, and gold accents. Contains high-end items, found from campfire level 5.

Fully heals the player (100 HP) and can revive downed players.
Places down up to 3 Bear Traps.
Very rare chest only obtainable from deep within the forest, with very valuable loot. Large wooden chest with golden trim and lock. Replaces Ruby Chest upon opening, found mostly on map edges. Part 2 enhanced: In Bat Cave, drop rates for high-tier weapons and explosives are doubled.
Can spawn at any campfire level but is more common in remote locations. Found in Bat Cave: At mine ends, behind Dungeon Gates, after Shadow Cultist waves, and in the final area. Part 2 update: High-tier weapons and explosives drop rates doubled in Bat Cave. Suitable for Day 50+ late game.

Rare tablet found in final area of Bat Cave. Place at L4 workbench to unlock upgraded ammo crate crafting. Exclusive blueprint item.

Fully heals the player (100 HP) and can revive downed players.

Heavy melee weapon with high damage but slow attack speed.
Used to upgrade crafting bench to level 4 and build tier 4 structures.
Craft 4 fragments into Gem of the Forest to upgrade bench to level 5.
Rarest chest in the game, most commonly found in deepest areas and Cultist Stronghold. Downgrades to Gold Chest after opening, can be farmed by repeatedly raiding stronghold. Found from campfire level 2-3, mainly at level 6, guaranteed after stronghold completion.
Can spawn as early as Campfire level 3, but is more common at level 6 and is guaranteed after clearing the Cultist Stronghold.

Fastest tree-cutting tool. Small trees: 2 hits, large trees: 25 hits. Can be held down continuously.
Throwable weapon with extremely fast rate and high range. Affected by gravity.
Reduces all incoming damage when held.
Armor that damages enemies on contact while reducing damage taken.
Most powerful ranged weapon, firing pellet spread. Uses unique shotgun ammo.
Craft 4 fragments into Gem of the Forest to upgrade bench to level 5.
Only obtainable by clearing all enemies in Cultist Stronghold. Always drops 5 Diamonds. Large glowing blue chest with silver trim and star-shaped lock.
