Golden Chest
Golden ChestEvent

Very rare chest only obtainable from deep within the forest, with very valuable loot. Large wooden chest with golden trim and lock. Replaces Ruby Chest upon opening, found mostly on map edges. Part 2 enhanced: In Bat Cave, drop rates for high-tier weapons and explosives are doubled.

Spawn Conditions

Can spawn at any campfire level but is more common in remote locations. Found in Bat Cave: At mine ends, behind Dungeon Gates, after Shadow Cultist waves, and in the final area. Part 2 update: High-tier weapons and explosives drop rates doubled in Bat Cave. Suitable for Day 50+ late game.

Ruby Chest (Strong Chest)Event

Rarest chest in the game, most commonly found in deepest areas and Cultist Stronghold. Downgrades to Gold Chest after opening, can be farmed by repeatedly raiding stronghold. Found from campfire level 2-3, mainly at level 6, guaranteed after stronghold completion.

Spawn Conditions

Can spawn as early as Campfire level 3, but is more common at level 6 and is guaranteed after clearing the Cultist Stronghold.

Diamond Chest
Diamond ChestDiamond

Only obtainable by clearing all enemies in Cultist Stronghold. Always drops 5 Diamonds. Large glowing blue chest with silver trim and star-shaped lock.
