Description

Turkey Leg is a raw one-hunger meat dropped by Wild Turkeys in the Thanksgiving route. It can be cooked for safer direct eating, but its main strategic value is event cooking: Turkey Leg is required for both the Turkey Legs dish and Roast Turkey. Because Turkeys flee, collection is a hunting and route-planning task rather than passive ground gathering.

Usage Tips4 tips

Tip 1

Collect four Turkey Legs before leaving the event route if the goal is to complete both Turkey Legs and Roast Turkey recipes.

Tip 2

Do not eat the raw item for one hunger unless survival is critical; it damages the player and can consume a challenge ingredient.

Tip 3

Have one player block the Turkey's escape direction while another attacks instead of chasing it in a straight line.

Tip 4

Cook only the pieces intended for direct food; keep recipe ingredients clearly separated so the three-leg Roast Turkey requirement remains available.

Trivia2 facts

Fact 1

Turkey Leg is a Food item, not a generic crafting material; its previous Material classification obscured both hunger and raw-meat behavior.

Fact 2

Cooking does not change the displayed one-hunger icon, so the main benefit is safe consumption rather than a large hunger upgrade.
