Tool Trader is a None Threat entity of the Human species.A new, essential NPC introduced in the Modifier Flames update, the Tool Trader centralizes the process of buying and upgrading key 'skilling tools' like the fishing rod and taming flute.

Notes: Each tool can only be purchased once per playthrough.
Special interactions:
- •Provides access to the 'Tool Workbench' next to him for upgrading tools.
- •The Tool Workbench replaces the now-removed Upgrade Station for all tool upgrades.
- •To upgrade, players must equip the tool and have sufficient Tool XP, which is gained by using the tool (e.g., fishing or taming).

- Has a fixed spawn location near the campfire.
