Spawn Mechanics

  • At the start of a new day, a message announces 'Elves have appeared around the map' along with the quantity.
  • Spawn randomly across the entire map, including the North Pole biome.
  • The 'Elf Scanner' (purchasable for 30 Candy Canes) can be used to reveal all elf locations.
  • Tree Elves can be identified by a panicked elf on the ground looking up at a tree.
  • Buried Elves are hinted at by moving hands/feet sticking out of a snowdrift near a snow angel.
  • Frozen Lake Elves are found lying on large frozen lakes.
  • Skating Elves are found at the center of ice skating rinks.

  • Elves were building Santa's Workshop but were attacked and scattered by The Deer.
  • The main goal of helping elves is to earn Candy Canes, counter The Deer, and build Santa's Workshop.
  • In Part 2, helping elves contributes to lighting 12 Christmas trees to unlock a second safe zone.
