Elf is a None Threat entity of the Elf species.A passive, friendly entity introduced in the Christmas Part 1 update. Elves are found trapped in the North Pole biome and must be rescued by players using special tools to receive a Christmas Present Box.

Spawn Mechanics
- 1-2 Elves spawn randomly per server with no map markers.
- Best found during the day due to better visibility and lower danger.
- Spawns across the entire snow-covered map, including forests, frozen lakes, workshop areas, and near gingerbread houses.
- Commonly found in areas far from the campfire.
- To find elves on trees, look for a small silhouette at the top.
- To find elves in snow, look for protruding legs/feet, footprints, or suspicious mounds.
- To find elves on ice, check near skating rinks; some may require skating to be activated.
- Nearby candy canes or holiday decorations can be a clue that an elf is close.
- The Santa Sack UI icon may hint at the required rescue tool (e.g., ladder or shovel), aiding in discovery.
Lore & Background
- Elves were building Santa's Workshop but were attacked and scattered by a Deer/Moose monster.
- After being rescued, they thank the player and disappear.
- Only one player on a server/team can rescue a specific elf.
