Boar is a High Threat entity of the Animal species.Boars are hostile jungle animals introduced in the Jungle Biome Update Part 1 (February 28, 2026). Spawning in great numbers, Boars are tanky, high-damage melee enemies that can quickly overwhelm unprepared players in the Jungle biome.

Behavior & Characteristics

Recommended weapons:

•Revolver
•Bow
•Poison Claws
•High-DPS ranged weapons

Special interactions:

•Can be tamed using the Old Taming Flute or higher-tier flute.
•Taming requires a 30-second minigame during which the Boar becomes temporarily docile.
•After successful minigame, requires two feeding stages (commonly Morsel + Steak; some variants may require Corn + Morsel).
•Tamed Boars follow the player and assist in combat as high-HP frontline pets.
•If attacked by a pet first, Boars will target the pet instead of the player.

Spawn Mechanics

Spawn exclusively in the Jungle biome located northwest of the main camp.
Appear in large groups, making them one of the primary threats in the Jungle region.
Campfire must be upgraded to Level 3-4 to safely access the Jungle biome.
If lured too far from their spawn point, Boars may teleport back to their original location via smoke effect.

Lore & Background

Boars were introduced alongside Jungle Cultists as part of the Jungle biome expansion.
Compared to forest Wolves, Boars have higher durability and significantly stronger melee burst damage.
In Wild West mode variants, Boars (including Boar King) may appear with enhanced visuals such as red eyes or flame effects.
